Children's Dentistry at Alpenglow Dental in Bend, Oregon

Children are recommended to come to the dentist before their first birthday. We start talking to moms while the baby is in utero to discuss easy steps that can be taken early on to prevent early tooth decay. As it stands now, nearly half of 2 through 11-year-olds have had a cavity. And thirty-two percent of kids between the ages of 9 through 11 have cavities in permanent teeth. Most kids start getting their adult teeth at age 6 – the ones they will have for the rest of their lives! Children also need screening for orthodontics by age 9 – a service we provide. We love taking care of our future generation with an emphasis on prevention!
